What was the highlight of Minh Thanh 2 Hotel

Good location - quiet street

The hotel room was strange having both a window and a door which led onto the corridor the window didn’t lock so was a little worried for our belongings. Also it was hard to talk to the receptionist, her kids were running around the hotel and they had to call her to come back to the hotel and talk with us.

Comfortable, artistic room with wall paintings, reasonably...

Comfortable, artistic room with wall paintings, reasonably clean (except carpet in room needs cleaning). Reasonable cheap price. Safe and quiet street with many other hotels and hostels nearby. There are two popular eateries for Nem Noung (wrap your own with pork sausages and vegetables) on same street block close by, also a few good coffee cafes. My room faces front, good view of street. Many stylish buildings on the street. Large room with windows that can open. Nice curtain. Good WiFi. About 15 minute walk to town center where located are market, shops, lake, travel agents.

Have to remove shoes before go into room. Carpet in room needs cleaning.

Worth for our trip in Da lat!

The room is perfect for us. In the first time we just decided to stay 1 night. But now we want to stay here a week. The staff so friendly and helpful, breakfast every morning just amazing. Good location, quite place and safe. The host very nice!

Amazing stay and could recommend it to anyone going to dalat!

The best staff of every hostel/hotel we visited in Vietnam (next to a good location, great room for a good price, and a delicious breakfast)

Good value for money

The staff where amazing, Jenni really went out of her way to help and make us feel comfortable and help arrange excursions and good meal and drinks recommendations.

The carpets in the rooms. If you just take them out and tile or anything else the entire room will have an uplift. The colorful bedding and walls is great and funky but the carpets just make you feel like you are stepping on some filth so it's the only thing we would recommend to change. Other than that the vibe and everything is great.

Lovely stay

My boyfriend and I both got stomache the night we arrived in Da Lat (probably from something we ate on the way there). The staff was very attentive to us, asking how we felt. The private room we had was nice. Big bed, great shower pressure. One night, the family had a big dinner. It was nice to see them all day make the food and prepare for the big meal!

Good stay until someone stole money from our locked private room

Everything was good (staff, location, room, bathroom, cleanliness) until we got robbed.

We were so happy with our stay in Ken's House. In fact, we rented a scooter and a tour with them also and were even going to extend our stay. But after a beautiful day in Dalat, we went back to our room and found out that money (a lot) was missing from our bags, which were locked. We want to believe that the friendly staff had nothing to do with it but anyways, someone (staff, guest or an outside party) entered our locked private room (not a dorm), managed to open the lock from our bagpacks and stole money from us. After we communicated this to the staff, they didn't take us seriously, tried to blame us saying "we shouldn't have left valuables in the room" and they found what happened "really weird", suggesting we were lying (obviously we found it really weird too). We know this is a tricky situation and many times, there´s not much to be done. But we at least expected a little help from the staff. After the theft and the staff´s attitude regarding the situation, we couldn´t stay in there for another second, felt completely UNSAFE in there and CANNOT reccomend this place to anyone.

We were allowed a early check in which was nice after our overnight bus trip, nice room with a comfortable bed, and had great WiFi connection, the family who run it are very lovely

In general I did really like my stay here because you felt...

In general I did really like my stay here because you felt very welcome. The room I stayed in was very beautiful coloured with some kind of paintings and patterns.

The one thing that I kind of didn't, was that I was in a room in which the daylight was not strong enough at some point, so you would have to use the artificial light.
